So even babies or children who die relatively young have a determined death...so what was the point of them being born at all....

Lol, I love stalking this thread. xD I love all of your opinions, and I love to see what everyone finds a loophole in and then the defense it's great entertainment.
@dex I believe she stated a while ago something about Islam and she keeps mentioning the Q'ran ( Quran ) so I'm putting my money on slightly if not all Islam.

>> Its hard to tell if you're honestly complimenting me on my opinions or being a smug b*stard about it and just letting my steam blow over :/ Not that I'm calling you one I just don't know another term for it... Trollin? Well it wouldn't be that, you'd be trying to provoke me into getting angry. I'm just asking questions Stalking threads is a nice practice :3

I don't think that Atheists don't have respect, we just seem to have a lot less of it from religious people. As lovely as all that after-death stuff sounds, how do you prove any of that? If everybody had a predetermined death, then God planned people in military dying from rampant grenades, teenagers dying of cancer, a kidnapped child being murdered by the kidnappers... all this happens because he wants it to? Also, would abortion be considered murder? Would soldiers killing other soldiers be considered murder? There seems to be too much of a gray zone whenever I think about this. Technically, a soldier has sinned. Does that mean he is going to hell for defending his country? What about souls? I mean, look at souls from a scientific view. If it exists, even if it is invisible, then it must have mass. If it has mass, it is measurable. So why haven't we measured it yet? The odd thing about athetist is you must believe that the god doesn't exit so therfore you belive he exist, or why would you not believe?

Wait what? K so not gonna lie, but that makes no sense lusia Because I don't believe in something, that means that I believe in it?
As for this, you have an imagination, where you create new worlds of whatever you want You are creating something with nothing Making things exist without any mass
Or
Your soul is at absolute zero, making it have no mass whatsoever.
On a side note The human mind is so awesome To have a man made reproduction of the brain, for a robot, is almost impossible atm. While you can program a robot to do things on it's own, and make it "think" or give it "emotions", you can not replicate the freewill that each and every human is born with, because after all, a robot only does what it is programmed to do.

That's a beep cold soul. The odd thing about athetist is you must believe that the god doesn't exit so therfore you belive he exist, or why would you not believe? I did not understand a word of that. ._. Oh and I agree with the thread stalking and stuff here, this has got to be one of the most interesting conversations we've had on the forums in years.

To not believe in something you have to believe in it first...Generally not believing something is sort of a state of not knowing about something... Cause if no one knew about God no one would believe in it. I get where Lusia's coming from.

see personally in my opinion i think religion is straight up bs for the simple fact there are so many religions that they all could be right they all could be wrong or half and half and what not. Also look at what religion has done for us here lets count war, murder, disaster, chaos, torture, screwing with peoples mind, ok now the good it gives you something to believe in and it lets you have something to take pride in in witch case religion = bs becuase it does mainly nothing but cuase haterd and in other cases (WAR) murder

Awesome :3 I find Islam fascinating, despite the fact that it's core teachings come from Christianity, and that itself comes from Judaism (spelling? xP). It really is a shame that so much of the western world, aa soon as they hear the word "muslim", they immediatly think "terrorist". It's just such an insult to the very large majority of the Islam community. As for the whole soul business, in my opinion, it doesn't exist. It is an impossible concept, and so, until proved otherwise, it isn't real. Other people can believe what they will, i don't really care One of my favourite arguements when with one of the close-minded christians; In the tale of Noah's ark, how did he get two of EVERY animal??? If you discredit evolution, you also discredit the fact that dog speciae can be formed through breeding. Therefore, at the time of Noah, there would have been as many dog species as there are now. I dont know the exact number, but it's definately in the thousands, and that is just for canines. Think of all the arachnids, snakes, bugs, etc etc... All of above = ONE BIG A$$ BOAT xP

Moses wrote the first five books of the bible (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) Three of which are the books of Jewish law, exodus is the book of escaping the Egyptians, and Genesis is the book of tales that were passed down and told to Moses through word of mouth. What's to say the noah's ark story was true? I mean it is, in a way, a fable to explain why rainbows are there. They are God's sign that he would never flood the earth again. Is this true? Yes? No? Maybe?
A possibility for if it were true, people back in that time were not scattered across the whole world. Maybe they lived in the valley of some mountains? I dunno? And their whole world was flooded? As for all the animals, they did no know about every single animal in the world, so they gathered all the animals in their area.
So, i guess what im saying is that Genesis is a compilation of stories passed down from generation to generation, stories of how they have interpreted the way things are. Are they true? Or not?
Maybe God showed them visions of how the world was created. And because they did not understand what was actually happening, they told what they saw with the words they knew, trying to explain it to their families and friends in a way that they would understand.
As for the soul How can you prove that energy exists? Kinetic, gravitational, and all that jazz It is there, we know that. But it has no mass We cannot feel it We cannot see it We cannot taste it We cannot smell it We cannot hear it (well maybe sound energy we can, but that is energy converted into a different form)
Maybe your soul is a type of energy? Or something that acts the way energy does?
This is just me thinking out loud, pondering on the questions of life and stuff.

@fusion: Yeah I know right? it just makes me angry when they say that a muslim is a terrorist when in fact they don't know anything, I mean come on muslims are humans they aren't beings from another world. They're just like anyone else, there are good and bad ones they have hearts they have a soul and of course they have family, friends and enemies. I mean what if the press started calling Jewish people or christians or anyone else terrorists? that's what it's like, the press are terrible people all they ever do is make up exaggerated lies and hurt people's feelings.
Anyways enough about the press^_^. So...I am not really sure what else to say..I'll take my leave and end my part of the debate here.

Ok to further explain what Lusia and I are trying to get through. A quote from a fake Jack Sparrow "Looks like the one that wants to do the wanting really wants to be wanted by a different wanting and the want of wanting has never been wanted for the sake of wantness...eyy?"
