Jack you have no idea. Even if I were to have a 3DS (which I don't) I can't even play the games because of my condition. This extremely sucks for me, because I am guessing they will continue to make the games in 3D after this. Thus meaning I can no longer play one of my favorite games.

Yeah, Nintendo can go beep themselves if they think I'm buying another one of their consoles to play ONE game that I'll have finished within a week. *Cough*Arrrg*Cough*

I know about the slider, but it's not the pop out of screen effect. It's any 3D game, no matter the console. My brain doesn't process the moving in 3D space well.

It may be a step up,and it may be promising as a game in itself but when you look at the entire pokemon franchise, it is NOT what it used to be, and what it used to be was almost perfect. I know they have to keep stepping up and making new crap to satisfy all the 10 year olds who knew nothing about the good pokemon days, but they should have just stopped after heartgold and soulsilver. They are just ruining pokemon by pushing it further and further to the "next level"

It's a shame this is 3DS exclusive' really. Considering the Pokémon games are the only good games that are made for it, I'm not buying a 3DS... Also, It's pretty impressive how Gen VI is here in under as little as 2 years after Gen V, as well as it being in full 3D.

(All pokemon X and Y discussion should go here were it is on topic. If a mod/admin could move all the posts in "The death of Pokémon spiting" that refer to the game itself and not sprinting, then That would be much appreciated.) So Pokémon X and Y have been announced for October 2013. If you haven't seen it, you can check out the announcement trailer in the link below. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WNr6wQfNfK4

Well personally, I've never really seen anything wrong with gens 4 or 5 even though up till gen 3 has been the best in my opinion but at the same time I really think gen 5 has had an interesting storyline and some of the pokemon are actually cool. I agree with you though fisheh, I admit that gens one to 3 were the best.

Well some good things about X and Y to me are:
-3D + better graphics (You see all of the pokemon's body instead of a flat sprite, even though I like spriting and will be sad for no new pokemon to sprite with) -New Pokemon (I still like lot of the new ones) -Possibly the new features

Yeah. It does look like it's going to be a huge improvement on the past games. Sad I won't be able to play it though. It looks awesome from what I've seen.

I'm not a big fan of anything over Gen. 3, to be honest. I have Pearl, and I love it, but I use Pokemon from the first three generations on there anyway. I was stoked when Soul Silver came out though.
So basically I'm not planning on buying X or Y, given the fact I don't even have Black or White.
