I tried it, but the community's infamous hatred of newbies got to me xD plus it takes a good 40 minutes to play a round, so I stick to things I can quit at any time without the whining from other people.

You can't do that in pokemon, people get mad if you disconnect from a battle. :3

But Pokemon battles only take like 5 - 20 minutes :3 DotA is like 40 or longer.

I haven't got any good game on the wii...the wii is useless...so is the DS...end of.

Its the ds that has the wifi connection im not quite sure how it works, as i dont have a ds anymore, but someone else could explain

Basically you get a FC (Friend Code) when you connect to wifi. When you do you find someone you want to battle ask for their FC and give yours. You enter it into your pal keeper thingy (I forget what it's called ) then you pick a date and both get on wifi then you can battle.

That was a confusing explanation xD Both the Wii and DS have Wi-Fi. You connect through entering a person's friend code into the system. People on the internet freely hand out their friend codes to battle, and tournaments are held often.
